CUBA SISTER CHURCH

SUNDAY MORNING AT OUR SISTER CHURCH

As a Christian community, we bear the fruit of God’s love together, not just as individuals. When our mission team members visit our sister church in Guanabacoa, Cuba, they visit on our behalf and share our love for them.

A Cuba Faith and Interest Group (FIG) informally constituted (and open to new interested members at any time) develops our vision of what our sister church relationship should mean and plans and executes activities, trips, collections, purchases, or whatever else is needed to serve God by enhancing our fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters in Cuba.

There have been many trips sponsored by Southminster Presbyterian Church to visit our sister church in Cuba, and we will be planning more on a regular basis.  Inquiries about trips may be made to Pastor Wendy Boden or the Moderator of Mission, Gretchen Fleming (gretchen_fleming@yahoo.com or phone or text to 630-517-0926).  We will be collecting items to take to our sister church during each visit.  Information on this activity will be shared in church written and verbal announcements and in our monthly newsletter the Dialog.
