PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN

For the 2024-2025 season, our focus is on self-care. To explore this theme, we have a rich and diverse lineup of speakers, each ready to delve into different aspects of self-care. The Presbyterian Women look forward to another season of fun, fellowship, and learning. Everyone is invited to join us.

Jessica Parks provided a very informative discussion on women’s mental health issues at our February meeting. She highlighted the importance of socialization, recognizing and treating depression – including seasonal mood disorder, often referred to as the winter blues – and the value of open conversations among women. Many questions were asked and answered, making it an engaging and enriching experience for all in attendance.

The next Presbyterian Women meeting will be on Friday, March 21. Sarah Allen and Francine Long will discuss older women’s health issues. The meeting will be in the McHenry Parlor/Library, starting with refreshments and devotions at 9:30 a.m. and the presentation at 10 a.m. A brief business meeting will follow.

April’s meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, at 9:30 a.m. Please note the change in day (Saturday vs. Friday). We are meeting on Saturday in the hope that the working women of the church will be able to join us. Roxane Johnson will discuss oral health issues and how they affect overall health.

All women are invited to join us!

Our meetings are typically held on the 3rd Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the McHenry Parlor.

All women of the church are invited.
